ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that the target in Kabul was ammunition and a drone depot of the Afghan Taliban.
In an interview with a private news channel, DG ISPR said that the explosions caused after the ammunition depot was hit were seen by the entire city, rubbishing the Afghan claims about civilian casualties in recent Pakistani strikes.
He added that the propaganda of civilian casualties in the attack is a lie, adding that most of the Taliban fighters wear civilian clothes.
The DG ISPR further added that the Taliban also use drug addicts for suicide attacks.
“The Taliban detain all the drug addicts in one place, and they use them as terrorists and suicide bombers. All the suicide bombers who exploded themselves in Pakistan were all drug addicts,” he claimed.
Moreover, Lt Gen Chaudhry has revealed that Indian drones were used by the Afghan regime against Pakistan recently.
“Pakistan does not fight with the Afghan people; they are held hostage by the terrorists themselves,” he said.
