MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Syed Azadar Hussain has been appointed as the Political Assistant for Sports, Culture, and Youth Affairs to the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore.
According to the notification issued on Monday, “the President of AJK has approved the appointment of Syed Azadar Hussain Kazmi as Political Assistant for Sports, Culture, and Youth Affairs to the Prime Minister in the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.”
Kazmi has been appointed in BS-20 under the Discretionary Appointments (Terms & Conditions of Service) Act, 2023, dated December 15, 2023, the notification reads.
The notification clarifies that the appointment is purely discretionary and temporary in nature. It will automatically lapse upon the completion of the Prime Minister’s term or the term of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir government, without the requirement of any prior notice.
It has further been stated that the appointment does not confer any right to permanent employment and will remain subject to the discretion of the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir.
