ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan Suzuki Motors recorded a significant increase in vehicle sales in Pakistan during August 2025.
The highest-selling model among the various models was the Suzuki Alto, whose sales increased by 80 percent compared to July, from 2,327 units to 4,139 units.
The Suzuki Cultus also performed well, with its sales increasing from 239 units to 497 units in August, an increase of 108 percent.
Similarly, the Suzuki Swift saw the highest increase in demand, with its sales increasing from 522 units in July to 1,473 units in August, an increase of 182 percent.
Among small commercial vehicles, Suzuki Ravi sales also increased by 76 percent to 593 units from 337, while Suzuki Avery sales increased by 63 percent to 376 units from 230.
However, Suzuki WagonR sales declined, falling to just 22 units in August from 25 units in July, a 12 percent decline.
Experts say the increase in sales in August is likely due to the start of the financial year, auto financing facilities, and increased demand in the market.
Suzuki Cultus 5-year installment plan
Suzuki automobiles still enjoy consistent demand in Pakistan, but prices are now at a record high and increasing the cost factor for most customers, with Cultus exceeding four million.
Following the government’s recent tax adjustments, such as the hike in sales tax to 18% from 12.5% and the imposition of the NEV (New Enhanced Value) Levy on car sales, the prices of Suzuki Cultus models have gone up significantly.

The new payment plans are intended to help alleviate the buyer’s burden against the backdrop of the increasing price of cars in Pakistan.
Nonetheless, industry commentators caution that steep taxes and charges might still drive car prices higher in the months to come.
