The campaign aims to reach approximately 24 million children under the age of five.

The campaign will run from November 2 to November 8, 2026 with varying durations depending on the district, such as 4 to 7 days.

Over 23.9 to 24 million children under five would be reached via this campaign with more than 200,000 health workers deployed nationwide.

In Punjab there are over 9.278 million target children across 13 districts (Rawalpindi running a 4-day drive, Lahore a 7-day drive).

Sindh has over 6.883 million children across 20 districts, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has over 4.808 million children across 27 districts, Balochistan has over 2.217 million children across 31 districts while Islamabad (ICT) would be targeting 447,614 children through door-to-door, hospital, and school teams through November 5. Balochistan aims to cover over 2.21 million children across 31 districts.

 Week-long anti-polio vaccination campaign

The week-long anti-polio vaccination campaign aims to bolster immunity and stop poliovirus transmission.

The drive is being implemented simultaneously alongside coordinated efforts in Afghanistan, the only other polio-endemic country in the world.

Health authorities and the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) strongly urge all parents to welcome the frontline workers and ensure that every eligible child receives the vaccine drops during this drive, even if they have been vaccinated in previous rounds.
