ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): In a shocking turn of events, strong earthquake turmoil was felt in various parts of the country.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.8 and struck at 10:48 pm in Pakistan.
The epicenter of the quake was 8 km southeast of Rawalpindi and its depth was 17 km. Residents rushed to the outside areas in a state of panic and kept reciting Kalamah Tayibbah.
Tremors were also felt in other areas, including Murree, Swat, Parypur, Peshawar, Abbottabad, and Malakand.
However, no reports of casualties or property damage were received.
