MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Azad Kashmir Abdul Jabbar on Monday transferred six senior police officers, the Central Police Office issued a notification.
According to the posting orders, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Traffic Region Mirpur, Shahzad Ahmed Sarwar, has been transferred and posted as DSP Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Divisional Headquarters Muzaffarabad.
Furthermore, DSP/Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Khuiratta, Ziaullah, has been transferred and posted as DSP Traffic Region Mirpur, who will receive salary from the Central Office of Police Muzaffarabad as opposed to the vacant post of ASP.
DSP/SDPO Leepa, Jhelum Valley District, Muhammad Ilyas Khan (Senior), has been transferred and posted as DSP/SDPO Khuiratta, Kotli District.
The notification further stated that DSP/SDPO Dhirkot Bagh District, Muhammad Shafiq Khan, has been transferred and posted as DSP/SDPO Leepa, Jhelum Valley. While DSP Muzaffarabad, Raja Ansar Sajjad, has been transferred and posted as DSP/SDPO Dhirkot.
In addition to that, Inspector Fayyaz Sarwar, currently in charge DSP Sharda, has been given an additional charge of SDPO Sharda, Neelum district.
