DUBAI (Kashmir English): Pakistan cricket team fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has achieved an important feat in the T20 International.
In the crucial match of the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup T20, Pakistan qualified for the final by defeating Bangladesh by 11 runs after an exciting match.
Shaheen Afridi Shah Afridi took 3 wickets for 17 runs for Pakistan and was declared the Player of the Match.
This is Shaheen Afridi’s 10th Man of the Match award in T20 Internationals, after which he has become the fast bowler to win the most Player of the Match awards in this format.
Earlier, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 11 runs in the crucial match of the Super Four stage to make it to the final, where they will face India on September 28.
According to the details, in pursuit of the target of 136 runs given by Pakistan, the Bangladesh team managed to score 124 runs in 20 overs, in which Shamim Hussain topped by scoring 30 runs, Saif Hassan 18, Noorul Hassan 16, Mehdi Hassan 11, Tanzeem Hassan 10 runs.
From Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf took 3 wickets each, while Saim Ayub could not show performance in batting but managed to take 2 wickets; besides them, Muhammad Nawaz also dismissed a player.
