KURRAM (Kashmir English): In a recent development, the security forces neutralized 22 Khwarij in an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in Manato and Mirzai areas of Central Kurram.
According to details, during the operation conducted by the security forces, 22 Khawarij were killed while several others were injured. These operations were carried out on the basis of intelligence.
As soon as the information was received, the forces carried out a very effective, targeted, and timely operation, as a result of which 22 Khawarij were killed.
Sources revealed that the Khawarij were hiding in a house near the residential areas; however, fortunately, no loss of life was reported during the operation.
The security sources further revealed that the Khawarij had also planted explosives in this house. During the military operation, the explosives also exploded, which destroyed the house, while some security personnel also received some injuries.
With the Pakistan Army’s commitment to safeguard Pakistan, the security agencies are united to completely eliminate this scourge of terrorism, and these operations will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.
