RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Security forces have gunned down 13 terrorists of the Indian proxy Fitna-ul-Khawarij in two separate operations in Mohmand and Bannu districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence-based operation was conducted in Mohmand district on credible information about the presence of Khawarij, and during the operation, the security forces effectively targeted their hideout.

According to the ISPR, 7 Khawarij were killed after an intense exchange of fire during the operation.

The ISPR said that another intelligence-based operation was conducted in Bannu district, where security forces killed 6 more Khawarij through effective action.

The statement said that clearance and sanitization operations are underway in the area to ensure the complete elimination of any Indian-sponsored Khawarij.

The ISPR said that the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign by the security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue at full speed under the vision of “Determination of Stability” to root out the scourge of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
