(Kashmir English) Samsung Galaxy Watch8 has been officially launched, with two impressive models, Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic, offering smart health tracking and modern tools.
Both smartwatches offer powerful upgrades in performance, design, and health tracking capabilities.
The Galaxy Watch8 series, which is developed in close partnership with Google, is the first wristwatch to ship with Wear OS 6 and Gemini,9 Google’s AI assistant.
With the help of your Galaxy Watch apps, such as Samsung Health, Calendar, Reminder, and Clock, you can complete tasks hands-free by using natural voice commands.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Features
The Galaxy Watch8 comes in two sizes, 44mm and 40mm, featuring lightweight builds with a durable sapphire crystal display.
The 44mm model boasts a 1.47-inch Super AMOLED screen while the 40mm variant includes a slightly smaller 1.34-inch display.
In contrast, the Watch8 Classic, with its signature rotating bezel, arrives in a 46mm size and includes a robust stainless-steel body available in Black and White.
Both models run on Samsung’s new Exynos W10000 chipset built on a 3nm process, paired with 2GB of RAM.
However, storage is different with 32GB on the Watch 8 and an upgrade to 64GB on the classic.
The health features include Samsung’s advanced bioactive sensor, temperature monitoring, and various motion sensors.
The classic model also includes a 3D hall sensor for improved motion tracking. With Fast wireless charging, a 445mAh battery on the classic, and Wear OS 6 powered by one UI 8 watch, the Galaxy Watch 8 series blends smart features with style and performance.
The watches are compatible with Android 12 and above and boast 5ATM+IP68 water resistance.
