MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir Engish): Magistrate Muzaffarabad Sardar Imran took immediate action on the sale of dead animals’ meat in Azad Kashmir’s capital was exposed.

Taking immediate action on the complaints of residents, the district authorities failed an attempt to slaughter a dead buffalo and sell it in the market in the Shah Sultan Mohalla of the city.

Food inspectors of the Municipal Corporation and a Veterinary Doctor reached the spot and after declaring the buffalo dead, it was destroyed in the light of the instructions of the Magistrate Municipality.

Inspector Nadeem Mir, Sardar Junaid, Dr. Afaqul Islam, and HC Muzammil Rathore were present during the operation.

The prosecution was presented in the Municipal Magistrate’s court for further legal action against the accused Qasim Khan, who runs a meat business in the name of Gousht Ghar in Gilani Chowk.

The Magistrate Municipality along with his team thwarted the attempt and said that action would be taken against the butcher.

The Magistrate Municipality has appealed to the citizens to keep an eye on such characters around them.

In another crackdown, Assistant Commissioner Rural Muzaffarabad Hammad Bashir launched an operation against illegal encroachments on the Western Bypass last night.

The operation has led to the closure of illegal sheds, sheds, and carts. Whereas, a strict warning was issued to the shopkeepers that action would be taken against those who keep goods outside their shops in the future.

According to the details, the Muzaffarabad administration took immediate action to eliminate encroachments and conducted an operation last night.
