Rs12.6m distributed among families affected by Indian shelling in Haveli

HAVELI (Kashmir English): Deputy Commissioner Haveli Raja Imran Shaheen distributed relief checks worth Rs 12.6 crore to several families affected by Indian shelling in Haveli district.

According to the PID statement, relief checks worth Rs 1.92 million were distributed to 32 affected families in Mandhar village of Haveli, and Rs 2.27 million to 33 affected families in Chanjal.

Moreover, Rs 3.76 million were distributed to 63 affected families in Kairni, and the affected families in Degwar and Fatehpur got Rs 4.68 million.

Assistant Commissioner Sarfraz Ahmed Shad was also present on the occasion, along with the Additional Assistant Commissioner.

Deputy Commissioner Haveli said that soon the cheques will also be paid to those whose houses were affected due to the rain.
