KARACHI (Kashmir English): The National Savings Center has announced that the 54th draw of the Rs100 prize bond will be held on May 15, 2026.
According to an official statement, the draw will offer multiple cash prizes for successful bondholders under the government’s prize bond scheme.
The first prize for the Rs 100 prize bond is only one prize, and it is Rs 7 lakh. The second prize is Rs 2 lakh for 3 lucky winners, while the third prize is Rs 1 lakh each for multiple winners.
According to the statement, in light of the laws of the Government of Pakistan, there will be a tax deduction of 15 percent for registered persons and 30 percent for unregistered persons on the prize money.
This tax is final under Section 156 of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001, and it will not be refunded. The National Savings Center says that the money invested in the prize bond is completely safe, and citizens can convert the bonds into cash at any time without any deduction.
These bonds can be obtained from all commercial bank branches and National Savings Centers.
Winners must present original prize bonds and valid CNICs to claim awards within six months, according to National Savings regulations.
