RIYADH (Kashmir English): CCTV footage has emerged showing scenes of panic and passengers scrambling for safety during a missile attack on Riyadh Airport in Saudi Arabia.

According to foreign media reports, the CCTV footage released by Saudi state television clearly shows scenes from various parts of the airport moments before the attack.

The footage shows a sudden, bright orange flash appearing amidst passengers who were waiting to board their flights at Riyadh Airport.

Reports indicate that the appearance of the light sparked panic and a stampede among the people.

Damage to parts of the building’s roof is also visible as a result of the attack. Thirteen people were killed and more than 380 injured in the incident.

Houthis claim responsibility for the attack

It is worth noting that Yemen’s Houthi rebels have claimed responsibility for the attack and asserted that strikes were also carried out against Dammam Airport in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province and two facilities belonging to the Saudi oil company, Aramco.
