KARACHI (Kashmir English): The rising beauty of the Pakistani showbiz industry, Sahar Hashmi, broke her silence on the comparison with Bollywood actor Imran Hashmi.
Sahar Hashmi entered the world of showbiz with the drama serial Zalam and immediately made a unique mark in the showbiz industry; however, she also faced criticism due to her relatively bold scenes on screen.
Recently, actress Sahar Hashmi participated as a guest in a podcast where she openly expressed herself on various topics, including showbiz and personal life.
In response to a question regarding the criticism she received, the actress said that criticism gave me the opportunity to become a better actress, but some comments, especially the comparison with Emraan Hashmi, made me regret it and feel very illogical.
She said that I filmed only those scenes that were part of the script and which the director wanted to present according to his creative vision, every artist works according to the needs of his character and script.
Asked about shooting bold scenes, the actress said that I find this strange; to be honest, I am neither the first actress nor the last to hug someone on screen.
The actress said that my director had said with full confidence that if I feel comfortable with these scenes, then I must do them.
Asked about comparison with Emraan Hashmi, she admitted that after this controversy, I have been forced to think again about such scenes in the future.
Sahar Hashmi said that, to be honest, now I will be more careful in this matter, because if we are making dramas for the audience and they do not like it, then we will not do it, but please do not hold me at gunpoint.
