MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): A new ride-hailing bike service, “Kashmir Bykea” has been launched in Azad Kashmir’s capital, Muzaffarabad, and its surrounding areas, on Wednesday, aimed at providing citizens with a convenient and efficient way to book rides and order parcels.
In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Muzaffarabad, Mudassar Farooq, and Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Imran Abbas Naqvi, were given a demo of the online application.
According to the statement issued by the AJK govt’s Press Information Department, citizens can book rides online, reducing the need for physical transportation hubs. The service will allow users to order parcels, making it a convenient option for deliveries.
The online bike service is expected to reduce traffic congestion problems and promote safe travel. The service offers citizens a convenient way to travel and access essential services.
Apart from the Kashmir Bykea, the authorities have cancelled the no-objection certificates (NOCs) and operations of other companies operating ride-hailing motorcycle services in the capital city.
