SUDHANOTI (Kashmir English): Rescue 1122 and local police jointly held a mock exercise at Fauji Foundation College, Palandri, Sudhanoti, to strengthen preparedness for any emergency situation.
The mock exercise was organized at Fauji Foundation College, in which personnel from Civil Defence, Rescue 1122, and police jointly participated.
The main objective of the exercise was to inform students and staff about safe evacuation, staying alert, and timely action procedures during emergency situations.
Rescue 1122 team responded to fake emergency call
The exercise began with a simulated emergency call, to which the Rescue 1122 team responded immediately, arriving at the scene to demonstrate the practical removal of injured persons, providing first aid, and transferring them to a safe location.
Civil Defence personnel conducted search and sweep operations, while the police demonstrated area cordon, crowd control, and security measures.
The students showed keen interest, and through this exercise, they were taught that in an emergency, acting with order and discipline, rather than panic, is the most important principle for saving lives.
This joint exercise will prove to be a milestone in further strengthening inter-institutional cooperation, coordination, and professional expertise.
The administration thanked all institutions, stating that such activities create both awareness and responsibility among the younger generation.
The exercise was supervised by Muhammad Asif AD 1122, Sardar Majid Inspector City Police, and Muhammad Waleed BD Commander Civil Defence.
