LAHORE (Kashmir English): The issue of the registration of madrassahs in Punjab has finally been resolved between the government, religious scholars, and the Union of Madrassahs.
The agreement has been made after four months of consistent dialogue between both parties.
According to the Punjab Home Department, the concerns raised by scholars and the union regarding the registration process have been fully addressed.
In line with the recommendations received, the department has developed an online registration form to streamline the process.
The department further added that the final madrassah registration will begin on the 3rd of February.
This marks a significant move that will lead to better regulation and coordination between the government and the mosque.
