MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): A public holiday has been announced across Azad Kashmir on December 27.
The holiday has been declared on the occasion of the death anniversary of former Prime Minister of PakistanBenazir Bhutto Shaheed.
A notification has been issued in this regard.
According to the details, the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has approved the declaration of a public holiday across Azad Kashmir on December 27, 2025, on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto Shaheed.
Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore and ministers are also likely to attend the main ceremony of the martyrdom anniversary at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh tomorrow.
Earlier, a holiday was declared in schools of Azad Kashmir on Friday due to the convention of the Schools Teachers Organization, while winter vacations will begin in schools and colleges from Monday.
The Sindh government has also declared a holiday on the occasion of the death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed.
