PTI leaders visit Jhelum Valley to mobilise workers for Imran Khan’s release movement

JHELUM VALLEY (Kashmir English): Opposition Leader in the Azad Kashmir Assembly, Khawaja Farooq Ahmed, and Vice President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Azad Kashmir, Syed Zeeshan Haider, paid a significant visit to Jhelum Valley to hold organizational consultations and strategize for the ongoing movement demanding the release of Imran Khan.

During the visit, the leaders met with PTI Jhelum Valley office bearers to discuss the party’s strategy and preparations for the movement. They also visited the homes of recently deceased workers and residents to offer condolences, showcasing the party’s commitment to its supporters.

Speaking to the media, Khawaja Farooq Ahmed announced that a joint meeting will be held in Muzaffarabad on July 26, where a comprehensive strategy for the next phases of the protest movement will be decided.

Both leaders emphasised that Imran Khan has been imprisoned for two years without justification, and the Kashmiri people consider him a savior and a symbol of hope.

They stressed that a dignified, independent, and stable Pakistan, which can emerge under Imran Khan’s leadership, is essential for guaranteeing Kashmir’s freedom. The leaders expressed confidence that the system of oppression cannot last long and that the hour of change is near.

PTI Executive Council Member Sattar Naqvi, City Chief Organizer Waqar Sheikh, Advocate Shahid Hamdani, Youth Leader Aamir Roshan Awan, ISF Leader Hamza Mir, City Information Secretary Nasir Awan, Khawar Razaq Abbasi, Shafaqat Khan, Maqsood Hamdani, Shujaat Hamdani, Adnan Khan, and other workers were present on the occasion.
