MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Former Prime Minister Azad Kashmir and President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) AJK Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi has expressed confidence in the party’s unity and strength, stating that PTI is an ocean and the departure of a few individuals will not affect its popularity.

His remarks came during his meeting with party leadership of Azad Kashmir a day after several party leaders including government minister Javed Butt and MLA Chaudhry Rafique Nayyar left PTI to join Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

As per details, the Organizer Women Wing, Khaula Khan, and Naila Mir met with Qayyum Niazi today to discuss the overall political situation, including organizational matters. The president PTI AJK also met Sardar Atif and Sardar Majid Sharif from Constituency V, Poonch.

During the meetings, Niazi emphasized that the party’s workers and supporters are committed to Imran Khan’s ideology and will reject those who are disloyal.

“PTI is an ocean, it doesn’t matter if someone leaves,” Sardar Qayyum Niazi said, adding that Khan is the name of an ideology and thought.

“The party will launch a public relations campaign across Azad Kashmir after the 10th of Muharram to strengthen its grassroots support,” he said.

Imran Khan-founded party will give tickets to real workers and new faces in the 2026 elections, rather than to those who have betrayed the party.

Former AJK premier warned that those who have betrayed PTI will be given a befitting reply in their constituencies if they resign and contest elections again.

Niazi praised Imran Khan as a global leader and emphasized that his decisions and ideology have a strong impact on the people. He stated that whoever Imran Khan gives a ticket to will get success in the elections.

He urged PTI workers to continue their struggle and to go door-to-door to strengthen the party’s campaign. He emphasized that unity and consensus will lead to the defeat of opponents.
