MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): In a recenr development, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Faisal Mumtaz Rathore said that in AJK we will compete with the Muslim League (N), we will contest elections against the PPP and the Muslim League (N) and there is no possibility of an alliance between us, while now the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has ended in Azad Kashmir.
He said that elections will be held in Azad Kashmir after 6 months, and the PPP is the strongest in Azad Kashmir after Sindh. Announcing the elections after a month, they have said that we are not a hybrid system but a political government.
The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that there should be a Kashmir House in Karachi. We will talk to the Sindh government that if they give land, we will build a Kashmir House.
Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, while talking to the media at a ceremony in Karachi, said that India is oppressing the oppressed people of occupied Kashmir.
He demanded that the Kashmir issue should be resolved according to UN resolutions, and the international community should stop Modi’s atrocities in occupied Kashmir.
Earlier, addressing the ceremony, he said that we have inherited the love of the PPP for Kashmir. Problems have arisen in Azad Kashmir for some time, due to which movements have taken place. The people’s trust in the state system has weakened, but we will solve all the problems.
The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that in one and a half months, we have done things that could not be done in the last 4 years. We have restored contact with the people. Today, the PPP is the biggest force of the people in Azad Kashmir.
He said that we do not abuse, we have not come to block the paths of the people. Is it right to lead the state towards chaos? When the state is sitting with you, why are you afraid of sitting?
The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said that we are improving the situation in the state, so why are you not sitting down? If we have broken any promises, then tell us. We are not a hybrid system; we are a political government. We are trying to prevent the situation from getting worse.
