PSL X schedule revealed: Islamabad to face Lahore in opening match

MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially released the PSL X schedule for the highly anticipated 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL X), which is set to begin on April 11, 2025, Friday at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

PCB released the 10th Pakistan Super League (PSL X) schedule starting April 11, 2025, through the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

PCB released a statement which revealed that Islamabad United would play against Lahore Qalandars at their home ground right after the glamorous opening ceremony of the tournament.

The exhibition match will take place on April 8 at the Imran Khan Stadium, which was previously named Arbab Niaz Stadium. The PCB has stated that details regarding the teams participating in this special match will be announced later.

The six-team competition will feature a total of 34 matches, running from April 11 to May 18. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 matches, including the crucial Eliminators and the final.

 

PSL X schedule:

Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including Qualifier 1 on May 13.

National Bank Stadium, Karachi, will stage five matches, with the first game on April 12, where Karachi Kings will take on last season’s runners-up, Multan Sultans.

Multan Cricket Stadium will see action on April 22, featuring a match between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars. The tournament will also feature three double-headers, with two scheduled on weekends and one on Labour Day, May 1.

PSL X will return to Lahore’s newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium on April 24, where the home team, Lahore Qalandars, champions of PSL 7 and 8, will take on Peshawar Zalmi.

Peshawar Zalmi will play their five matches at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, while Quetta Gladiators will play the same number of games at Gaddafi Stadium. These two teams will be the only ones in the tournament without home-ground advantage.
