LAHORE (Kashmir English): Peshawar Zalmi set a world and national record by achieving the highest target without a fifty by any player in an innings against Rawalpindi Pindiz.
In the match, Peshawar Zalmi crossed the target of 215 runs and scored 218 runs. Before this feat, the highest target without a fifty in the world was 214 runs, which was made by Washington against Los Angeles in the Major League.
Similarly, Peshawar Zalmi also created a new record in Pakistan domestic cricket. This innings became the highest score without a fifty by any player in Pakistan domestic.
Before this, Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators had set a record of 209 runs without a fifty in an innings.
Fakhar Zaman New Record
Lahore Qalandars batsman Fakhar Zaman has crossed an important milestone in the Pakistan Super League 11.
Fakhar Zaman achieved this feat in the opening match of PSL 11 being played between Lahore Qalandars and Hyderabad Kingsmen at the Gaddafi Stadium.
Fakhar Zaman has completed 3,000 runs in the Pakistan Super League. He completed 3,000 runs in the 98th innings of the PSL.
Fakhar Zaman is the second player to complete 3,000 runs in the PSL, with Peshawar Zalmi’s Babar Azam leading the way with 3,792 runs.
