BAJAUR (Kashmir English): President Bajaur Press Club, Hasbanullah, said that we strongly condemn the cowardly attack which took place today in Bajaur’s Salarzai Tehsil, where a mortar shell fired by Afghanistan hit a local house.

He added that we express our heartfelt sympathy and deep condolences to the families of the martyrs.

As a result of this tragic incident, four brothers were martyred while one person was injured.

He noted that “We thank the Government of Pakistan for immediately expressing its position on this incident and issuing a condolence statement.

However, it is very sad that no official condolence statement has been issued by the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa so far, which is not only worrying but also regrettable.”

Hasbanullah went on to say, “On behalf of the Bajaur Press Club, we want to clearly state that we stand with our brave Pakistani forces.

We are confident that the Pakistani forces will definitely take into account the blood of our innocent brothers, and effective and concrete steps will be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.”

Afghan forces mortar attack in border village martyrs four civilians

Afghan forces’ mortar attack on Pakistan’s civilian population in Bajaur’s Salarzai Tehsil area along the Pak-Afghan border martyred four people.

The incident occurred in the Leti (Tari Pasha) area along the border. According to locals, the shelling was carried out from across the border. A shell fell onto a residential house, martyring four innocent civilians.

“As a result of the shelling, four people present in the house were martyred on the spot. All four victims were real brothers.”

Afghan aggression

Among those martyred as a result of the Afghan aggression are Sajid, Ayaz, Riaz, and Maaz, sources added.

After suffering defeat at the hands of the Pakistan Army, the Afghan Taliban have started attacking civilian populations in Pakistan.

There is strong resentment among the locals against the attack from Afghanistan.

Pakistan’s armed forces are giving a befitting reply to the cowardly attacks by the Afghan Taliban.
