PPP’s youth-centric vision echos in Rawalakot PYO meeting

RAWALAKOT (Kashmir English): Sardar Saqib Farooq, a prominent figure in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir People’s Youth Organization, addressed an Azad Kashmir youth meeting of the People’s Youth in Rawalakot, demanding to create the PYO Azad Kashmir soon. The meeting, held under his leadership, also featured an Iftar dinner that was attended by a large number of young participants who paid heartfelt tributes to the vision of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and the ideology of Bhuttoism.

Youth are the driving force behind any nation’s progress, and no country can truly advance without bringing young people into the mainstream. The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) commits to promoting welfare and representation for young people and women whenever it gets the chance to do so. In the last elections, PPP awarded tickets to many young candidates, most of whom emerged victorious. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, a dynamic young leader, deeply understands the struggles and aspirations of the youth.

Several key resolutions were passed during the meeting. The gathering was graced by senior party leaders including Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, former President Asif Ali Zardari, In-charge of PPP Azad Kashmir Mrs Faryal Talpur, senior leader Chaudhry Riaz, PPP Azad Kashmir President Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin, Secretary General Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, former President and Prime Minister Sardar Muhammad Yaqub Khan, ex-President of PPP Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Latif Akbar, former Information Minister Abid Hussain Abid, and other respected leaders. All attendees reaffirmed their confidence in the party’s direction.

The participants warmly welcomed the recent formation of various committees aimed at reorganizing district-level structures and the People’s Youth Organization (PYO). They also appreciated the establishment of a merit-based PPP organization for Rawalakot City Constituency No. 4 and Tehsil Rawalakot.

Youth plays an essential role in national development since they become the fundamental driving force in shaping the future. The PPP consistently demonstrates its commitment by endorsing young leadership and by actively including youth members. The concluding statement required the committee to create the PYO Azad Kashmir soon and attract young students who demonstrate ideological dedication.
