ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that under the vision and guidance of Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the agenda of the development of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and the prosperity of the people will be carried forward, while the welfare, development, and prosperity of the people of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are among the priorities of the government.
Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam met with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. During the meeting, the Federal Minister gave a detailed briefing to the Prime Minister on the issues related to Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, especially the ongoing development projects and public welfare measures.
Engineer Amir Makam also briefed the Prime Minister regarding the recent elections in Azad Kashmir. On this occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that under the vision and guidance of Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the agenda of the development of Azad Kashmir and the prosperity of the people will be further advanced.
Meanwhile, Chairman Prime Minister Youth Program Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan also met Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and gave him a detailed briefing on the ongoing initiatives, projects, and future plans under the Prime Minister Youth Program.
In the meeting, the Prime Minister reviewed the progress on various projects of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, including modern education and training, provision of skills in line with market needs, creating new opportunities in the digital economy, and increasing employment and business opportunities.
On this occasion, further expansion of the scope of educational, skilling, digital and welfare programs under the Prime Minister Youth Program and their effective and transparent implementation were also discussed.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that the youth of the country is the most valuable asset of Pakistan and the guarantee of a bright future.
The government is using all possible resources to provide modern education, skills, employment and business opportunities to the youth.
The Prime Minister directed that the ongoing projects under the Prime Minister Youth Program should be made more effective, productive and compatible with the real needs of the youth, while the speed of implementation of the priority projects should also be accelerated.
