MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Prime Minister of the State of Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq said that the Pakistan Resolution adopted on 23 March 1940 under the valuable leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a turning point in our history.
In a special message ahead of Pakistan Day the PM stated that despite strong opposition, our leaders supported Independent Pakistan. Turning the dream into reality.
This day is of utmost importance for Muslims of the sub-continent when they laid the foundation for the establishment of a separate state for themselves, and Kashmiri leadership was also at the forefront of this historic struggle, Huq added.
Kashmiri leadership participated in the Lahore gathering and laid the foundation of an everlasting relationship between the Kashmiri people.
Additionally, Prime Minister Azad Kashmir said that the Pakistan Resolution teaches us a lesson of togetherness and solidarity.
The ongoing struggle for freedom in Indian-Occupied Kashmir is a movement for the completion of Pakistan, which the Kashmiri people have kept alive with their blood.
Kashmiris are “by-choice” Pakistanis and consider Pakistan the center of their hopes and aspirations. He added that Kashmiris have not only played a vital role with the Muslims of India in the establishment of the Pakistan movement but since August 14, 1947.
Furthermore, the PM stated that Insha Allah, the sacrifices of Kashmiris will bear fruit and the completion of Pakistan will be completed through Kashmir’s freedom.
