NEW YORK (Kashmir English): Popular social media platform TikTok has rolled out a new micro-drama app, “Pine Drama.”
According to a foreign news agency, Pine Drama features short dramas consisting of one-minute episodes. This new app, Pine Drama, is currently available on both iOS and Android platforms
These micro-dramas are designed keeping in mind the fast-paced style and continuous viewing experience.
However, monetization features can be introduced in the future as this app is completely free of charge and without ads.
Through the Discover tab in the app, users can access “All” and “Trending” dramas. While episodes can be watched continuously according to their interests through vertical scrolling.
Features like favorites, watch history, and a comment section have also been added to the app for users. Through which they can track their favorite series and also discuss with other viewers.
TikTok is directly competing with platforms like Reel Short and Drama Box through this newly introduced application.
Earlier, TikTok launched ‘TikTok for Business Ads Manager’ for small and medium-sized businesses in Pakistan, which aims to provide low-cost and easy digital advertising facilities to local businesses.
This self-service platform allows businesses to create their own advertising campaigns, set budgets, and improve performance without any technical expertise.
Through this, brands can access TikTok’s vibrant community and effectively target new users.
According to TikTok, 73% of users globally discovered new products through ads on the platform, while 78% learned about new brands.
The new Ads Manager includes features such as creative tools, flexible budgets, and smart targeting.
According to TikTok’s Global Business Solutions team, small businesses in Pakistan are among the most creative in the region, and this new feature will help them grow.
