ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced a 10% fare discount for passengers flying from Paris to Pakistan. A PIA spokesperson said passengers can book tickets under the offer until February 10, 2026.
The discounted fares apply to travel during two windows: February 1 to March 10 and May 1 to May 15, 2026. PIA said the move aims to make travel easier and provide better value on this popular route.
Officials briefing the Senate Standing Committee on Privatization said PIA plans to resume and expand international flights. The airline may also restore direct services to the United States later this year, after improving operations to the UK and Europe.
The government expects to earn around Rs. 55 billion from PIA’s privatization. The government maintains ownership of important international assets. The airline has completed its debt obligations to the national treasury, according to officials.
