ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Wednesday increased petrol and diesel prices by a massive margin for the next 15 days, starting tomorrow, July 16.
As per the notification, the petrol price has been hiked by Rs5.36 per litre, and the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs11.37 per litre.
The Finance Division, in a notification, stated that the government has revised the prices of petroleum products based on the recommendations of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) and the relevant ministries.
New diesel, petrol prices in Pakistan
The Finance Division has fixed the new petrol price at Rs284.35 per litre. Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel has been increased to Rs272.15 per litre.

On June 1, the federal government increased the prices of petrol by Rs8.36 per litre and diesel by Rs10.39 per litre for the next fortnight following fluctuations in international crude oil prices.
