LAHORE (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 (formerly known as the Emerging Asia Cup).
The Asia Cup Rising Stars Championship will be held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, from November 14 to 23.
The event will be played in the T20 format, with a total of 15 matches.
Group A includes Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong, while Group B will include Pakistan, India, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman.
Mohammad Irfan Khan will lead the Pakistan Shaheens in the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025.
The Pakistani squad for the Asia Cup Rising Stars includes Mohammad Irfan Khan (captain), Ahmed Daniyal, Arafat Minhas, Maaz Sadaqat, Mohammad Faiq, Mohammad Ghazi Ghauri, Mohammad Naeem, Mohammad Salman, Mohammad Shahzad, Mubasher Khan, Saad Masood, Shahid Aziz, Safyan Muqim, Obaid Shah and Yasir Khan.
Pakistan’s first match will be against Oman on November 14, the second against India A on November 16 and the third against UAE on November 18.
The semi-finals of the event will be played on November 21 and the final on November 23.
It should be noted that the A teams of the Test-playing countries will participate in the Emerging Asia Cup, while the full-strength teams of the Associate Nations will participate.
