PCB announces official PSL 11 schedule, Six venues finalised

LAHORE (Kashmir English): Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the official Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) schedule, which will take place across six venues from March 26 to May 3, 2026.

According to the schedule, for the first time, eight teams will play 44 matches in Faisalabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, and Rawalpindi. Faisalabad and Peshawar will become the newest venues to host a marquee tournament.

“The eight participating teams in the 39-day event are Hyderabad Kingsmen, Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, and Rawalpindi Pindiz,” the PCB said in a statement.

According to the schedule, each team will play 10 matches, with the top four sides qualifying for the knockout stage. The knockout stage, including Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2, and the Final, will be held from April 28 to May 3.

“The final will take place at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Sunday, May 3, with a reserve day on May 4,” the PCB said.

Newly introduced venue, Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar, will host its first-ever and only PSL 11 fixture between Peshawar Zalmi and Rawalpindi Pindiz on March 28 during the day.

Similarly, Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad will host seven PSL matches this season for the first time. Defending champions Lahore Qalandars will play four matches at the venue, while Peshawar Zalmi will feature in three matches.

Gaddafi Stadium will host more matches than any other venue, which is 15 in total, including the opening match between Lahore Qalandars and Hyderabad Kingsmen, eliminator 1, eliminator 2, and the final fixture. The venue will also host three double-headers on March 29, April 19, and April 25.

“Multan will host four evening matches, all featuring the home side, Multan Sultans. The first fixture at the venue will be played on Wednesday, 1 April, between Multan Sultans (2021 winners) and Hyderabad Kingsmen.”

Furthermore, National Bank Stadium Karachi will host six matches in the upcoming edition, with first match scheduled between Hyderabad Kingsmen and Peshawar Zalmi on Wednesday, April 8.

Karachi Kings and Hyderabad Kingsmen will play three matches each at the venue, while Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United will feature in two matches each at this venue, according to the PCB.

Whearse, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including one Qualifier, in the upcoming edition. The venue will also stage two double-headers on April 2 and April 26.

“With the inclusion of two new teams, Islamabad United and Rawalpindi Pindiz will serve as home sides at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The venue will host six matches of Islamabad United and five matches of Rawalpindi Pindiz.”
