ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistani passport holders can now visit 31 countries with visa-free, visa-on-arrival, or electronic travel authorization (eTA) access, following Pakistan’s rise to 98th place in the Henley Passport Index 2026.
Pakistan climbed from 100th to 98th position in the latest Henley Passport Index, tying with Yemen.
According to the officials, the improvement is the result of expanding diplomatic ties and new international agreements, gradually increasing global mobility for Pakistani citizens.
With access to 31 destinations across Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, and Oceania, Pakistani travellers can now plan business trips, vacations, and short-term visits with greater ease.
Singapore visa
Singapore retained its position as the world’s strongest passport with visa-free access to 192 destinations.
The United Arab Emirates rose to fifth place, while India ranked 80th with access to 55 destinations, highlighting gradual mobility gains across the region.
