Pakistan Army shoots down Indian quadcopter in AJK’s Battal sector

POONCH (Kashmir English): Pakistan Army on Tuesday shot down an Indian spy drone in the Battal sector along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), security sources said.

Sources said that the quadcopter was sent by the Indian army into Pakistani territory allegedly for espionage, which was downed in Tatrinote village near Hajira.

Taking timely action, the Pakistan Army targeted the drone and brought it to the ground.

Security has been tightened in the area after the incident.

Sources said that the Pakistan Army is fully capable of giving an effective response to any kind of aggression and is always ready to defend the country’s borders.

Locals have praised the timely action of the Pakistan Army and called it clear proof of the country’s defense.
