LAHORE (Kashmir English): Pakistan Railways has announced a 20% discount on fares for all travellers during all the three days of Eid-ul-Azha.
The passengers can avail the facility on all three days of Eid, according to the officials. An official statement said the discount will be valid on all trains and classes, but will only apply to current bookings.
No facility for Eid special trains
It is important to note that the offer will not be available for Eid special trains.
The decision to this effect was taken under the special directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the federal minister for Railways.
The officials said the department is also working to ensure smooth operations, increased security, and punctuality during Eid days. The nation will celebrate Eid on Saturday (June 7).
