Pakistan Hockey Federation announces U-18 hockey squad for Asia Cup

LAHORE (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has announced an 18-member squad to represent the country in the U-18 Asia Cup being held in Dazhou, China from July 3 to 13.

Other than Pakistan, teams from Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Japan, China, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia and Kazakhstan will feature in the continental tournament.

The national side will depart for China on June 30 to participate in the U18 Asia Hockey Cup 2025.

The final squad was selected following open trials held at the Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium from June 11 to June 13.

Pakistan has been placed in Pool A with Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka.

The matches will take place at Dazhou City, located in Sichuan province. It will be for the first time that the city will host this scale of event, and preparations are already underway for world-class facilities.
