RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Field Marshal, General Syed Asim Munir, emphasized that the Pakistan Army is well prepared to uploiad a decisive edge in the face of modern warfare challenges.

The Field Marshal visited Multan Garrison, where he was briefed on the operational preparedness of the formation and ongoing training activities at the Corps Headquarters, According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The COAS expressed satisfaction with the high standard of preparedness and reiterated the unwavering commitment of the Pakistan Army to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

On this occasion, the Field Marshal also presided over the induction ceremony of the latest Z-10ME attack helicopter in Pakistan Army Aviation. This state-of-the-art all-weather platform is capable of accurate targeting day and night.

Equipped with advanced radar and electronic warfare systems, this helicopter significantly enhances the capability to deal with air and ground threats.

Later, the Army Chief also witnessed a practical demonstration of the firepower of the newly inducted Z-10ME helicopters at the Muzaffargarh Field Firing Range.

The induction of this powerful system is a major milestone in the modernization of Army Aviation, which further strengthens the capability to respond quickly and decisively on the battlefield.

Interacting with the soldiers during the visit, the Army Chief appreciated their high morale, professionalism, and combat readiness.

He praised the successful demonstration of the joint combat strategy and highlighted the resolve of the army to maintain superiority in the changing war situation.

The Army Chief also met with members of academia and civil society in an interactive session, in which he stressed the importance of national unity, civil-military harmony, and the partnership of the entire nation to combat hybrid threats.

Earlier, upon the Army Chief’s arrival at Multan Garrison, he was warmly welcomed by the Corps Commander Multan.
