ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan Army effectively responded to the ceasefire violation by Indian forces, who resorted to unprovoked firing at the Line of Control (LoC) between the night of April 29 and 30.

According to the security sources, the cross-border firing by India with unprovoked small arms fire took place in the Kiani and Mandal sectors.

However, the Pakistan Army retaliated strongly and gave a befitting reply to the Indian forces, after which Indian soldiers ceased their firing, sources said.

Meanwhile, there are reports of the destruction of multiple enemy posts due to the effective response of the Pakistan Army, with sources claiming the destruction of India’s Chakputra Post.

“One of the Indian check posts was completely destroyed on the LoC in Indian-occupied Kashmir,” they claimed.

Pakistani defense sources have confirmed that the country’s armed forces remain fully alert and prepared to respond to any form of aggression. Officials stated that “any hostile move by India would be seen as an attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and would receive a strong and immediate response.”
