RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Pakistan beats Sri Lanka (Pak vs SL) by 6 wickets to seal the series with a clean sweep against Srilanka.

Today’s match was played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, where national cricket team captain Shaheen Shah Afridi won the toss and decided to field first.

On this occasion, Shaheen Shah Afridi said that 4 changes have been made in the playing eleven for today’s match.

Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 211 runs in 45.2 overs and all its players were out, while chasing, Pakistan achieved the target in 44.4 overs for the loss of 4 wickets.

Sadeera Samarawickrama was the top scorer for Sri Lanka with 48 runs, captain Kusal Mendis scored 34, Pawan Rathnayake scored 31, Kamil Mishara scored 29, and Pathum Nissanka scored 24 runs.

For Pakistan, Mohammad Wasim Jr. took 3 wickets, while Faisal Akram and Haris Rauf took 2 wickets each. In addition, Faheem Ashraf and Shaheen Afridi took one wicket each.

Pakistan easily achieved the target of 212 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.

Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan scored half-centuries for Pakistan. Fakhar was dismissed for 55 runs, and Mohammad Rizwan remained unbeaten on 61 runs. Hussain Talat played an unbeaten innings of 43 runs.

Earlier in the series, the Green Shirts won the first ODI match by 6 runs and the second match by 8 wickets.
