DHAKA (Kashmir English): Green shirts defeated Bangladesh by a huge margin of 74 runs in the third match of the T20 series.

In the match played at Sher-e-Bangla ground, the Bangladesh team was bundled out for 104 runs in the target of 179 runs set by Pakistan.

Pakistan’s Salman Mirza took three wickets while Faheem Ashraf and Mohammad Nawaz took two wickets each. Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Sahibzad Farhan and Saim Ayub opened the innings for Pakistan. Farhan played a brilliant innings of 63 runs while Saim was out for 21 runs.

Hassan Nawaz scored 33 runs while Mohammad Nawaz scored 27 runs. Bangladesh’s Taskin Ahmed took three wickets and Nisum Ahmed took two wickets.

Bangladesh won the three-match T20 series by 2-1:

Several changes have been made in the national team today. Sahibzada Farhan has been given a chance in place of Fakhar Zaman, while Talat Hussain has been replaced by Khushdil Shah.

Other players include Saim Ayub, Muhammad Haris, Salman Ali Agha, Hassan Nawaz, Muhammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Abbas Afridi, Ahmed Daniyal and Salman Mirza.

Earlier, Bangladesh survived a late onslaught by Faheem Ashraf and Ahmed Daniyal to pull off a narrow eight-run victory in the second T20I match on Tuesday, winning a first-ever series in the format against Pakistan.
