DUBAI (Kashmir English): Pakistan has defeated the United Arab Emirates (Pak u19 vs UAE u19) by 70 runs and reached the semi-finals of the Under-19 Asia Cup.
Chasing a target of 242 runs, the UAE team could score 171 runs.
UAE’s Ayaan Misbah was outstanding by scoring 77 runs, Prithvi Madhu scored 27, and Ayan Roy played an innings of 13 runs.
Mohammad Rayan khan scored 12, and Uddish Suri scored 8 runs. Abdul Subhan took 4 wickets for Pakistan.
Earlier, Pakistan gave the UAE a target of 242 runs to win. Ahmed Hussain was outstanding with 65 runs, Sameer Minhas scored 44 and Hamza Zahoor scored 42 runs.
Abdul Subhan was declared the best player of the match for 4 wickets.
India from Group A, while Sri Lanka and Bangladesh from Group B have already reached the semi-finals.
