LAHORE (Kashmir English): The Pak-Australia ODI series has been rescheduled and will be held after PSL 11.
According to sources, the three-match ODI series scheduled for March 2026 now looks unlikely to take place on schedule.
Talks are ongoing between the Pakistan Cricket Board and Cricket Australia for new dates for the schedule.
According to sources, the ODI series was initially scheduled to take place between March 13 and 19, but it is now being considered that the three matches should be held after the end of the Pakistan Super League Season 11.
Both the boards are consulting on setting new dates in view of the busy schedule.
On the other hand, Australia’s arrival in Pakistan for the T20 series has been confirmed, and three T20 matches between Pakistan and Australia are scheduled from January 30 to February 5 before the T20 World Cup 2026 scheduled in India and Sri Lanka.
This series is being described as very important for both teams in their preparations for the World Cup.
The Pakistan team last toured Australia in November 2024, when the national team, led by Mohammad Rizwan, won the ODI series 1-2.
This was Pakistan’s first ODI series victory in Australia since 2002, which boosted the morale of the national team.
However, Australia made a strong comeback in the T20 series, winning all three matches and taking the series 0-3.
