DOHA (Kashmir English): Pakistan A has made it to the final of the Rising Star Asia Cup after defeating Srilanka A in a thrilling semi-final played in Doha.
In the second semi-final between (Pak A vs SL A) of the tournament, Srilanka won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat.
Pakistan Shaheens batted first and scored 153 runs for the loss of 9 wickets against Sri Lanka A in the stipulated 20 overs.
Ghazi Ghauri remained unbeaten on 39 runs while Maaz Sadaqat scored 23 runs, Ahmed Daniyal and Saad Masood scored 22 runs each.
For Sri Lanka A, Pramod Madushan took four wickets and Traveen Mathew took three wickets.
In reply to the target of 154 runs, Sri Lanka A could score 148 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
The final of the Rising Stars Asia Cup will be held between Pakistan and Bangladesh on Sunday.
