KARACHI (Kashmir English): Pacer and Vice-captain of Karachi Kings, Hasan Ali Tuesday equalled former fast bowler Wahab Riaz’s record for most wickets with the two pacers taking 113 wickets each in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) history.
The right-arm bowling ace reached the milestone during their PSL 10 match against Lahore Qalandars at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi.
Hasan Ali looked in superb form as he dismissed four for 28 runs in four overs.
Mohammad Naeem, Abdullah Shafique, Fakhar Zaman, and Sam Billings remained on the prey list of the Karachi Kings pacer.
The four-wicket performance has him join Wahab Riaz at the top of the PSL’s all-time wicket-takers chart.
The two pacers have taken 113 wickets each in the tournament history.
Notably, the Karachi Kings vice-captain accomplished the feat in just 83 innings, four fewer than Wahab Riaz, who achieved the milestone in 87 innings.
