KHYBER (Kashmir English): 44 Afghan Taliban have been killed by the Security forces as several Afghan Taliban hideouts near the Kurram sector have been destroyed in the ongoing Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq.
Security sources say that the Afghan Taliban made an unsuccessful attempt to attack the check posts of the Pakistani security forces through quadcopters.
The timely action of the Pakistani security forces shot down all the quadcopters. The Pakistani security forces are continuing to shell with small and large weapons, and the posts of the Afghan Taliban regime are also being selectively targeted through drones.
The Pakistan Army is carrying out a full-scale counter-offensive in the Garsal sector of Mohmand on the Pak-Afghan border. Pakistani security forces have destroyed Afghan Taliban checkpoints and killed 3 more Taliban.

Earlier, Pakistani forces successfully targeted enemy UKKs personnel from AP-1 and Zangi-5 posts, killing 5 more enemy militanst including an expert sniper, according to sources.
The Bodies of the killed enemy personnel are lying across the Pak-Afghan border. According to sources, militants were identified on the night of February 26 through thermal imaging cameras and troops stationed at forward posts.
Three militants, including a sniper, were seen moving northwest of one post, while two others were seen crawling towards another forward post.
Sources further revealed that efforts were made by enemy forces to retrieve the bodies, during which an evacuation team was also targeted.
The military stated that the successful identification and precision strike thwarted an infiltration attempt and reiterated that any kind of hostile activity along the LoC would be met with a decisive response.

The Federal Minister for Information, Attaullah Tarar, has said that the Pakistani security forces are giving a strong and effective response to the unprovoked firing on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border and will continue to do so.
He said that “The Afghan Taliban regime and Indian social media accounts are spreading false and baseless propaganda that has no connection with reality.
All such rumors based on good intentions are being spread to dispel shame.” After the defeat in the field, the Afghan Taliban regime is resorting to lies and propaganda.
The Federal Minister Attaullah Tarar added that “The Afghan Taliban regime will never be allowed to hide behind lies. Alhamdulillah, Pakistan’s professional forces are destroying the intentions of the attackers.”
“According to the confirmed information so far, thirty-six operatives of the Afghan Taliban regime have been killed in the Pakistan Army’s operation, and others are injured. Two soldiers of the Pakistan Army have attained the status of martyrdom while defending the homeland, while three soldiers are injured,” the Minister noted.
He further added that “Pakistan has recently taken successful action against the terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij who have been martyring innocent people in the region, especially in Pakistan.
The firing by the Afghan Taliban regime in Pakistan’s border areas in defense of Fitna al-Khawarij has once again exposed the Afghan Taliban regime’s support for terrorists to the entire world.”

The statement added that “Afghan Taliban miscalculated and opened unprovoked fire on multiple locations across Pakistan Afghanistan border in KP, which is being met with immediate and effective response by Pakistan’s security forces.”
Taliban regime forces are being punished in Chitral, Khyber, Mohmand, Kurram, and Bajaur sectors, as per the statement.
Pakistan will take all necessary measures to ensure its territorial integrity and the safety and security of its citizens.
