MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): In a significant step towards promoting e-governance and streamlining the registration process for non-governmental organizations (NGOs), Secretary Social Welfare Irshad Ahmed Qureshi has inaugurated the online portal of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Charity Commission.
The portal allows charities to register online, making the process more efficient, transparent, and accessible, under the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Charity Registration, Regulation and Facilitation Act, 2021.
The portal features online registration and a user guide. Through the portal, and commission can be accessed online from any district in Azad Kashmir.
Secretary Social Welfare Irshad Ahmed Qureshi said that the launch of the online portal is a significant step towards e-governance and will facilitate the registration of charities in Azad Kashmir.
He encouraged charities to take advantage of the portal and its user guide to streamline their registration process.
