ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): A new Online passport verification system has been introduced for passport applicants, as this will enable them to easily verify their fingerprints.
According to the details, the Passport Department has introduced a new Online passport verification system.
A fingerprint verification system has been introduced for the convenience of online passport applicants.
Through this system, developed in collaboration with NADRA, online applicants will now be able to easily verify their fingerprints through the Pak-ID app.
The Passport Department said that this new system aims to eliminate the technical problems that citizens, especially overseas Pakistanis, face while verifying their fingerprints online.
The department said that in case of problems in fingerprint verification, the option of face verification has also been provided, after which applicants will be able to complete the verification process without any hindrance.
DG Passports, Mustafa Jamal Qazi, said that several complaints were being received from overseas Pakistanis regarding problems in online fingerprint verification, keeping in mind that a new system has been introduced with the support of NADRA.
He said that overseas Pakistanis, senior citizens, and people with special needs will benefit the most from this facility.
DG Passports said that the process of introducing modern and effective facilities for the convenience of citizens is ongoing, and the system will be further improved in the future.
