ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Monday reduced the petrol and diesel prices for September 29, three days after the petrol price was hiked.
According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was decreased by Rs 2.27 per liter and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 3.56 per liter.
“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products for September 29, 2026,” the notification stated.
With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 389.03 per liter and diesel at Rs 404.97 per liter.
On September 25, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) hiked the petrol price to Rs 391.30 per liter and reduced the diesel price to Rs 408.53 per liter.
The revised prices are in line with the government’s ongoing policy of issuing fuel prices on a daily basis from Monday to Friday based on international oil markets.
