ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Tuesday hiked the petrol and diesel prices, effective Tuesday, August 19, a day after the prices of petroleum products were raised.
According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was hiked by Rs 3.34 per liter, and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 5.27 per liter.
“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products for August 19, 2026,” the notification stated.
With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 334.54 per liter and diesel at Rs 395.69 per liter.
On August 17, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) raised the petrol price to Rs 331.20 per liter and the diesel price to Rs 390.42 per liter.
